Jungle by sturmfrei Udaipur

Listing and pictures are accurate. The hostel is in a great location right on Lake Pichola and within a 10-15 minute walk to City Palace. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the view from the rooftop was amazing. We did not partake, but the hostel hosted daily social events that sounded like a lot of fun.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Jungle by Sturmfrei hostel in Udaipur and the experience left me enchanted. From the warm hospitality to the breathtaking views, this place truly captured the essence of this vibrant city. The exceptional service provided by the ever-friendly and accommodating attendant, Parit, made my stay even more memorable. The hostel's serene atmosphere was the perfect escape from the bustling city, and it's conveniently situated near some of Udaipur's most iconic attractions. The common areas were thoughtfully designed, allowing travelers from around the world to connect and share stories. But what truly set this place apart was the exceptional level of care and attention to detail, led by Parit. Parit's genuine warmth and enthusiasm for his job were evident when I checked in. He went above and beyond to make sure that every guest felt at home and had everything they needed. Whether it was recommending hidden gems around the city, arranging transportation, or even just having a friendly chat, Parit's presence truly made the experience unforgettable.

The location is so perfect, we couldn't have asked for a better one for the price we paid. It was walking distance from the core old city, racing Gangaur ghat. The view was also good. I would say the best thing about this place is it's location for the value. Not too much in a crowded area and you walk a footbridge and you are in the main shopping area.

The ambience of the place is extremely cute. The pink doors, comfortable beds, neat washrooms, polite and friendly staff, and most importantly the vibistic common area. We loved it 🫰
